UNDERSTANDING THE BOUNDARIES

Wellbeing education, with clear boundaries.

Breathe, Smile, Breathe is a non-clinical wellbeing education program. It is not counselling or therapy and does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions.

Education, not treatment

The program introduces ideas and practices for self-awareness, reflection and everyday wellbeing. It does not provide an individual clinical assessment, treatment plan or advice about medication. Taking part does not replace professional support you may already receive.

Your choice matters

Reflection can feel different for different people. You can pause an activity, choose not to share or ask about another way to participate. Breath and body-awareness practices should be invitations, not requirements to push through discomfort.

Respect for personal experience

Group learning should allow people to contribute without pressure to disclose private experiences or speak for others. Respectful listening and clear facilitator boundaries matter. Ask about the arrangements for a particular group before attending.

When you need more support

A wellbeing program cannot meet every need. If you need individual mental health advice or support, speak with an appropriately qualified health professional. This website and its enquiry form are not an emergency or crisis service.

Ask before taking part

If you have questions about an activity, accessibility or whether the program is appropriate for your circumstances, contact us before participating. We can explain the educational scope and current delivery arrangements.

Questions are welcome
